Please, could anybody give me an advice: I'm planning a trip to Argentina with my two daughters in September 2008 for two weeks. Of course, we want to see Iguazu falls. But I have a very big problem with my younger daughter- she has a very severe degree of phobia of spiders and snakes. If she sees them she can have a nervous breakdown. Is it possible to avoid them somehow? For example, is there any part of the Iguazu park which is commercialised just to see the falls without walking along the tourist routes. For the majority of the people it's a wonderful breathtaking experience but not for my daughter.
I'll appreciate any advice from the people who have travelled there. Thanks in advance.

Sorry there isn't. And, nothing like exposure to get over one's phobias, right?

But, there's a fair chance that neither spiders nor snakes will cross your path. The roads in the park are paved / walking boards for the most part, especially close to the falls.

Have never seen spiders or snakes while walking around at the Iguazu park. As bentivogli pointed it out you walk on paved path.
you will see many butterflys and they will maybe "attack".
