It's been reported:
'Heavy rain and flash floods brought by tropical storm Kammuri have killed at least 61 people and left dozens missing in northern Vietnam.
The mountainous province of Lao Cai, bordering China, was the most seriously hit area with 31 people killed by landslides and flash floods on Friday night and Saturday morning, provincial officials said.
A spokesman for Lao Cai's Storm and Flood Prevention Centre said: "It is a very ugly scene up here with numerous villages completely isolated after local roads were washed away by the floods and landslides."
He said the army had been leading rescue work but 32 people were still missing.
He added: "Although the rain and floods have subsided, the threat of new landslides is still very serious."
The government said in an updated storm report that a total of 66 people were missing in several northern provinces including Lao Cai, Quang Ninh, Yen Bai and Phu Tho.
The National Meteorology Centre said at least five people were missing in Lao Cai's resort town of Sapa, popular with foreign backpackers, but it was not known if foreigners were among the victims.'
I hope anyone who is out there now is safe :-(
