JJforever has indicated that this thread is about Italy

Does anyone have a Sita bus schedule that is in English? It is very hard to follow on some of the websites. I basically want to know the times for going from Sorrento to Atrani, Amalfi, Ravello, and Pompeii.

Sorrento to Amalfi, Amalfi to Salerno & Napoli to Amalfi timetables - http://www.amalficoastweb.com/orari_sita_bus_timetables.html

Amalfi to Ravello, Scala & Pogerola timetables - http://www.sitabus.it/sitabus/campania/orarioCA2007/QUADROXV_ravellopogerola.pdf

Leaving from Sorrento (Sorrento > Amalfi), it'll take around 45 minutes to reach Positano and appoximately 100 minutes to Amalfi. This is the furthest that the bus from Sorrento will go. To reach towns further south (Atrani, Ravello, Maiori, Minori, Salerno, etc), you'll have to depart from Amalfis' bus station on the (Amalfi > Salerno) line which passes through the aformentioned towns EXCEPT Ravello. There is a separate SITA BLUE bus that runs from the Amalfi bus station up to Ravello which takes 20-25 minutes I think. You have to go through some steep inclines since Ravello is situated in the hills among the mountains, not along the coastline highway. You mentioned wanting to go to Atrani, which is literally a 5 minute walk away from Amalfi. Obviously, it's not worth spending time waiting for a bus @ the Amalfi station if you're only going to Atrani.

Just in case you don't understand these timetables, the towns listed on the top of each section represent the station you're originating from. The towns listed below the 'starting point' are done so in the chronological order in which you'll reach them and the times listed are the appoximate times that you'll arrive. Remember to pay attention to what day it is and use the letter abbreviations correctly (F = Monday-Friday, etc)

You have take the Circumvesuviana train in Sorrento to get to Pompeii which is around 30 minutes away. Taking a bus there is impractical. The Circumvesuviana station in Sorrento is located just 5 mins away by foot from the town center. Once you're on the the way, make sure to exit @ the POMPEII SCAVI stop on the Sorrento-Naples line (the 13th stop)!!! If not, and you get off at the POMPEII stop (17th stop) you'll have to walk 20 minutes through the modern city of Pompeii to get to the excavation sites of the Ancient city. Once you're out of the POMPEII SCAVI station you'll see a few cafes bunched together and the entrance to the archaeological site a few meters away to the right. I believe the trains leave every hour though I don't have the timetable.

You're better off not planning your trip around any bus/train schedules. It's common for buses and trains to be late, sometimes very late. If you're worried about catching buses on time, all stops have a timetable. I know you didn't ask for all of the additional info that I gave you but I thought it might make things easier for you anyways. Have a great trip, This region is amazing, probably my favorite spot on Earth, maybe haha.
