I will be flying into Santiago mid february. I would like to do a little tour of chile, argentina, brazil. ANd i amtrying to spend a majority of the time in brazil and ctach carniva. lUnfortunately i can only get 3 weeks off work and there is so much i want to cram in I am trying to map out a trip but i want to make sure I am realistic, i would rather cut one stop oout and get to really enjoy another rather spending 1 day in each place. I ahve somewhat of a plan but i am having a little trouble factoring in travel time. Good lord it is really easy to underestimate the size of south america! things don't look so far away on my atlas! Anyways below is a list of places i want to visit and abut how long iwant to spend in each place. I 'm thinking of doing it mostly by bus since i am on a budget but i' am willing to look in to flying some place if it would save me that mcuh time. If you could just look over what i ave and tell me if you think i maybe have too much time or not enough time in one spot and if i decide fly between which places would be the best.
Fly into Santiago Chile 3nts (i am meeting a friend beginning here is defnite)
then to buenos aires 4nts
then to rio/ sao paolo 6 nts (& if any1 knows how long a bus ride rio-sao paolo is that would be helpful)
iguazu falls 1-2 nights
mendoza 1-2 night
i would also like to see the southern part of chile for 2 or 3 nights maybe go snowboarding but i dont know how long it will take to get down there
and i will be flying home from santiago, chile
let me know if i should do this in a different order or what you think the best econimcal way to do this would or if there are any places i should add or subtract from my tentative itenerary
this is ambitious i know but i don't know when the opportunity for me to do something liek this again wil be and iwant to see as much as possible but still get to enjoy it. This is actual very minimal compared to what i dream of doing.
Any help would be BEYOND appreciated and youwill be helping me fulfill part of my life dream as cheesy as that may sound. Thank so so so much in advance.
