I recently cruised with -snip- cruises between Fethiye and Olympos after recommendation as a "must do in Turkey" from my mates....they were so right! Such a beautiful relaxing experience, I came off feeling so refreshed (esp. after 3 months of hard out travelling!)- 4 days 3 nights cruise sleeping under the stars, soaking up the Turquoise coast and hot hot sun, and doing very very little! Tough hey!

The highlights for me were Oludeniz: the most stunning beach I've ever seen, world renowned for paragliding (wish I wasnt afraid of heights!); Butterfly Valley; the Sunken City (where we sailed over the ancient ruins-incredible-World Heritage site); and Olympos (its so funky there!!) sleeping in tree houses!!

I recommended this trip to EVERYONE. Young old, single or attached, families or independent travelers. If I did it again I would get a whole crew of my mates and hire a private yacht which definately sounds like a wicked option!! Definitely a Turkish highlight.

More about Turkey

With one foot in Asia and one foot (a smaller foot, granted) in Europe, Turkey emerges on the tourist map as a fascinating cultural mystery, with ancient cities and towns as frequent as freckles and a history that's as long as it is complicated.
