Hey, has anyone out there got any tips/advice on travelling Italy in September ?I'm fairly limited on time, so really want to make the most of what time i do have (possibly only 2 weeks!) Probably going to get an interrail ticket for train travel around. Thanks!
IF R LIMITED FOR TIME AND TRAVELLING VIA RR...THEN START IN VENICE AND HEAD SOUTH...E.G. UNIVERSITY TOWN OF BOLONGA..ROME, PISA, FLORENCE, AMALFI COAST A MUST SEE, THE CITY OF POMPEII...GREAT SIGHTS ALONG THE WAY..ENJOY
We did Rome-Venice-Tuscany-Amalfi-Rome in 15 days, and it was just enough time to see lots and relax on the way, too. September should be nice--not too hot! Enjoy your trip.
check out all the other posts in here about italy, theres been a few in the last month, they should give you an indication of places to go and how long to spend there...
but you need to be specific, how limited on time? weekend trip? a week? where are you flying into? what do you want to see and whats your budget?
Thanks alot for all your suggestions guys
It will prob be 2 weeks, however may well only be a week now If that is the case, can anyone suggest somewhere to go that is beautiful, good food, quiet? Somewhere to chill and get away for a week?
Thanks in advance!
