Hi there,
Unfortunately, the UK is one of the most expensive places to live these days, perhaps second only to Japan. You will need a decent job if you want a good place to live, otherwise you might have to share for a while.
There is a large muslim community in the UK and although I'm not an expert, I know there are many muslims in the north and midlands regions - places like Bradford, Derby and Leicester.
Regarding a job, it depends entirely on your skills, but you'll need a permanent address first.

I have not much to say that is not in your last reply. I think I should favour Bradford but that may be bias because it is nearest to me of the cities mentioned. If you want somewhere a bit smaller with a large Muslim population, you would find one in Halifax or Rochdale but I think Bradford has made more efforts to provide a fair deal for all ethnic groups than many of our cities.
Cheers, David
