My wife and I are travelling to SA from early December to early Feb, starting off in Lima (and heading south).
We plan to head to Cuzco after a few days in Lima.
Our preference would be take to take the bus, but from my reading of other threads (and other websites) most buses that travel to Cuzco travel overnight (even if the trip is broken up!)
Any suggestions as to how the trip could be broken up into 2 or 3 daytime legs?
DO you know what spots you want to see in Peru? you can see Ballestas Islands, Huacachina Oasis, Naca Lines and Colca canyon all these places are on the way to Cusco if you go by bus.
If you have short time the best is taking a flight from Lima to Cusco just 1 hour, if not take a bus from Lima to Nasca then from Nasca to Cusco
If you need more infor just let me know
I was thinking Lima-Nasca-Cusco or Lima-Nasca-Arequipa-Cusco.
Was thinking only to stay overnight in Nasca, but possibly 3-4 days in Arequipa/Colca Canyon.
Time is flexible at this stage.
