i have Two Problems, Where to go and how to contact employers. i'm going to B.C to ski my ass off, for most of the season arriving early november, and i'm considering Kicking Horse in Golden. i've heard that its really good snow although its a family resort, i want to meet like minded party crazed people. Does anyone know anything about the resort and area? also i've heard that Fernie is good? i really don't know where to go!
if anyone has any experience about mountains with good snow and good party life feed back would be great!
DUde If you want lots of party minded people and ski your ass off, Whistler is the place for you! Get info on Whistler/Blackcomb web site. HAve fun!
Ey don't see it as a problem. See it as a challenge. Don't worry too much about work and where to go. Start looking over the internet for different resorts. It's all amazing compared to Europe and even forget about the snow in Australia. I've done 2 seasons in an Austrian skiresort at which I noticed it's not too difficult to find a job or a place to life. Expect to sleep with a roommate cos rent will be high. Be sure that you take enough money with you to come through the 1st 2 months. I saw a lot of people that destroyed their entire season because they were out of money at half December. Or waiting till payday 1st of Januar to be able to buy their skipass. Just come earlier than the season starts, take some precautions and you'll be fine. I'll head to Vancouver the 19th of October and I don't know where to go yet. Whistler is expensive and it's hard to find good accomodation for a normal price. Bannf, Fernie, Lake Tahoe, Big White, All sweet skiareas. If you have any questions feel free to ask mate.
And you'll probably only meet party crazed people dude.
Whistler is cool, but it can be pricey. Check out coolworks.com for snow jobs! Check out the states, alot jobs and party people. Tahoe, jackson hole, etc.
Heavy party life? Good lord, there's no better place than Whistler!
Oh, to remember my times there
