just came back from vietnam
tour from saigon, nha trang, hoi an, hue , hanoi , sapa
i spent more time in saigon, hanoi and sapa.
saigon...i went to the major ones..
took 2 tours..
spent time for museum..etc
food is gooddddd
the worst traffic compared to hanoi.
but the ppl r alot more better than hanoi
as for mekong river tour.. i still think it's uncomparable to thailand's floating market..
so not point wasting money.
chu chi tunnel is a must of course.
pls visit the tribal village where the super huge tall tribal house... i didn't go..because i didn't know it was nearby saigon
nha trang has not much to offer to see.
hoi an.. to me, i think one day trip is good to see most of the major ones..
but hoi an's beach is so much better than nha trang.. it's so blueeeeeeeeeeeeee
as for hue, i think there're lot of things to see.. the tombs r huge... lots of walking...don't miss it!!
so i would spent 1 or 2 days there.. i only got to spent half day because it's just a pit stop for me..
if you're alone, i think taking the motor taxi would be cheaper..
subtle taste of food compared to saigon
road system is abit confusing to saigon
much peaceful than saigon
much expensive than saigon
went to halong bay (1 day tour).. basically.. i wouldn't jump to swim there..because to me the water is pretty contaminated..
if u wanna swim..go hoi an's beach!!!
as for the cave, i have been to my own country's cave which is much better.. we get to go underneath the cave...crawling inside of it... so i still agree with my fren saying it's uncomparable to ours..sorry viet
compared to thailand, vietnam tribal village has more varieties...so do explore..
but overall... vietnam is great, because i get to see the west and east architecture and a bit of culture too
i would go again after i finish my other asian countries trip.
