Has anyone been in Hoi An etc in early to mid October? I know it's the wet and sometimes stormy season but I'm in Vietnam from October 5th and of course would like to spend some time in Hoi An. Should I try my luck or expect to miss the centre? Advice would be appreciated.

Thanks Cazna

I was in Vietnam last year for a couple of months. I reached Hoi an around early September I think. I remember the more north I went it got slightly colder and rained more often. Im not sure how much different it will be a month later but I would I wouldnt worry too much about the rain, your gonna have a wicked time whatever the weather! If you dont enjoy it there jump on the open tour bus and try somewhere else.:)

In October is the last of stormy season in the centre of Vietnam, have a late storm, rarely.
