I am planning on booking this hotel for next summer (August). Reviews are fantastic, my only concern is that it seems to attract a lot of couples 'honey mooning' or getting married. We have 2 teenagers in our family (14 & 16) and I would like to know if they will be adequately catered for. Many thanks.

I haven't stayed there, but my rides to and from the hotel have driven through and the hotel looks very nice.

It is, however, every isolated from the rest of Cancun. If you wanted to get out in the hotel district or into Cancun proper, it would be a ways away. If you want to be closer to the action, you might want to consider something on the hotel strip.

Other than that, I can't offer much advice. I don't know how teens would be received there.

Moon place is a great place for couples and families. However, like the the previous post stated, it is very isolated and the only way to get to el centro is by hotel shuttle service. Sun and Cancun Palace(s) are good alternatives. But they are not quite as kept up as the Moon. Those hotels are popular among the spring breakers!
