hey, guys,

yes, I'm a heavy smoker so the price of cigarette is one of the most important facts of my travel.

How much is the price of cigarette are you currently staying?

for example, i'm Korean, and the price of Marlboro light in Korea is 2.5 USD while the price of it in Argentina

,where i'm staying now, is just 1.2 usd.

how about you?

Around €4 for a package. A bit more maybe.
Still have packages from Argentina as well at €0,75 a piece. Don't smoke that much really.

A packet of cigarettes in Australia is more than $10.00

That's about US $9.00

Prices depend on the state regulations/taxes and vary between cities and more rural areas. Marlboro Lights are $3.20 at the local cigarette shop in our nearest town. They are running upwards of $7-9/pack in Chicago. Little cigars (Swisher Sweets, Muriels, Dutch Masters - 20/pack) are about $1.50/pack out here and $3.50 in the city.

In UK Marlborough are about £5 ($9.3) !!!! Hence I smoke rollies! In Morocco, the perfectly acceptable Marquise are going for 16DH ($2). Cheapest I have ever found is Sudan at 20p (38 cents) !!!

As a nonsmoker, all I can say is "are you crazy"??? Honestly, since they banned smoking in most restaurants and public buildings here in the USA, the clouds of smoke have gotten so thick on the sidewalks of America, many cities are now banning smoking at city bus stops. I had fewer problems in SE Asia with drift smoke than I have at home. Here in Oregon you can still smoke in the bars - one place I never go!

My favourites are the kretek cigarettes from Indonesia, they are made with cloves and have sweet filter tips... in Indonesia you can get a carton of the kretek's for the price of one packet here in Australia...
