HI I had a chest xrray today for a working visa for new zealand. the reason for a chest xrray is that i live in majorca spain. they didnt give me the paperwork back so they must send it to new zealand immigration.
Can any1 please tell me if it is the radiologist that send the docs to the new zealand immigration. they didnt say anything to me, they took the documents so they cud fill it in, am worried
When I had my chest xray and medical in the UK the results were sent back to me, and then I had to send the results to immigration along with the rest of my application. I presume this is the same for you but might pay to check with immigration.
In Australia, you can choose where you want them to send it to, maybe you can call the radiologist to clarify.
When my b/f got his visa for Canada, he went to the doc's and they sent everything directly to the powers that be. He got a call saying his documents were late, though, so best to touch base with your doctor just in case.
chest xray??? what are you guys talking about? why would u need a chest xray?
asked nicely but confusedly,'
Sometimes it's required to submit one when applying for a WHV:
Each applicant who intends to stay in New Zealand for more than 6 months and who has risk factors for TB is required to complete (and submit with their application) a Temporary Entry X-ray Certificate.
Each applicant who intends to stay in New Zealand for more than 12 months is required to complete (and submit with their application) a Medical and Chest X-ray Certificate.
I have to go and collect my results tomorrow, do u advise me to send the results to london nz immigration or nz as in new zealand itself
They should probably go wherever you applied for the visa - so if you applied through London, send them to London.
I sent my results to new zealand immigration last thursday. How long will it take to hear from them and finally i can get my working visa. I sent it to London
I applied my WH via net and got my visa the following day!!! Did you fill in forms or via net? And they asked for chest x-rays? Normally only if you come here for longer (to live) you need x-rays. My wh visa was straight forward but permanent residency is a bit longer process. Saying that I did get that in 4 days
But I have heard that sometimes it takes looooong time so I'm sure you'll be fine just be patient.
Good luck with your travels!
