I'm an asian (Filipino) tourist in Amsterdam. I'll be staying for a week or so. Want to squeeze a side trip to Brussels and Paris by train and then back to Amsterdam. Is that possible at all? Please help with your suggestions. Many thanks.

I would say that these trips are very do-able. In fact seeing as you are from the Philippines where there are no trains these 2 trips you want to do will seem very easy indeed!! Trains in Holland are very efficient (try getting a train in the UK - horrendous ).

I hate the trains in the UK..mine was just delayed again. Why cant this country sort itself out.
Anyway off the soapbox. These 3 cities are connected by the same train line. Ams - Brussels is 2-3 hours. easily done. Brussels to Paris about 4-5 hours. But to go back?? might be tight. And your not really seeing each city.....and an expensive train ride.

Thanks to both of you guys. bwiiian said it's very doable while coldwarspy said it can be easily done. Does it mean that I won't be meeting any immigration officer along the train line particularly upon entering Belgian and French territories? Thanks again.

oh! just to be clear - its do able BUT i wouldn't do it myself cuz ur not gna see much of any of these cities except trainstations.

Once u enter the Schengen Zone (in your case - Holland) you wont be bothered again by immigration unless its a rare random check.
