Single guy travelling to Thailand 29/12 looking 4 advice

Hi,

I am a solo traveller going to Thailand after Xmas but wanting to know where the place is too be for New Years Eve etc? Actually; looking for any advice on what and where is good full stop1 Only going to be there for 3 weeks and I wanna make the best of it.

I have travelled around South America and more so I;m game for pretty much anything.

Would appreciate any info you might have.

Hi there, I'm going to Thailand with my husband and friends on 25th Dec 2008, for 3 weeks as well! We are going to Ko Samui for New Years, from the 30th to the 5th, staying at Save House. Its reeeeally nice there i'm told by a relative who has just been.

Check out my travel map if you want. We are going Bangkok > Chiang Mai > Ko Samui > Phuket > Bangkok.

If you want fireworks over the water, non stop partying and a wild time, Pattaya is the place to be for NYE. There will be more women available then you have time, money or energy to pursue. You will have a great time if you choose Pattaya. I have heaps of Pattaya photos in my gallery and also a blog entry on Pattaya
