I am wanting to spend at least a month travelling the East Coast of Australia but was wondering in which month would it be best to visit
Thanks

There are two things to keep in mind. First the summer months in the south are November to March, with December-February seeing the highest temperatures and December/January being the high season, meaning higher prices, crowds (in some places) and maybe accommodations booked solid.

The other one is the rainy season in the north which lasts from October/November to March, early April.

I would say starting in the south around half or end March, finishing in the north end of April would be perfect, with sunny, warm conditions most of the time without being it too hot.

What Utrecht said. :) But if you're looking at coming in the other half of the year, start in northeast Australia in October and make your way south. Spring's beautiful, and you'll have plenty of sunshine to enjoy!

hello everyone,
I think it is good any time of the year------but then it depends what kind of weather really bothers you. If you are looking for real good beach time, I guess it may matter.

But yes, spring is awesome too!

Purely in terms of weather, i think these guys have got it right...but if you don't mind the occasional hot day, summer is by far the best time in terms of atmosphere. more festivals on generally i think.
