Hi all,

I just flew into Zurich yesterday night and my passport wasn't stamped. Apparently it's the norm here, you won't get one unless you ask for it or need a visa to enter. I got a stamp in Geneva, so was kinda concerened...

Are there any other airports that are like this too?

Did you stop anywhere in Europe first? Was Zurich your entry point? Swiss is not technically in the Schengen zone so maybe they have different rules for immigration.

I flew in from Singapore. I asked 3 people at the airport (customs officer, airport staff and info counter lady), so hopefully it's ok!

I had a similar experience. Went on the train from Germany and didn't get stamped. Asked a local pretty much said it doesnt matter and they don't really bother about it much :P

I didn't get stamped in Athens when I flew from Rome - I think all other times I've flown I got stamped though
