Travel Forums System Talk Blast from the past

Uhm, so suddenly all the forums have threads last updated in August 2005 at their tops. Most posts in these threads say they were made "3 minutes ago".

Did someone run an update without specifying a where clause?

That would be me.. Thanks for the alert Sander. I was blissfully unaware until you let us know.

All should be back to normal now. I think.

*grins* Glad I happened to reload the forum right as you were starting this, then.

Still, I miss those few seconds where I thought "oh wow, look, CupCake came back! And -reece-! And... Wocca? Hrm..."

Well, if everything is back to normal now, then I can happily say that I thought it looked kind of interesting too there for a minute! There were some really cool old threads being dug up there :) But mostly I'm just thankful you picked it up so quick Sander and things are back to normal!!

Um, so I had that problem last night, but then again just a few minutes ago. At first I thought I was nutso (not that that's out of the question.) Just now it happened in the Europe Forum. I wasn't even around for the "good ole' times" but was considering a post anyway

Hmm, this REALLY should not be something you would still be seeing. One or two of the old threads were responded to before their dates were reset back to normal though, so maybe that's what you're now seeing?

Peter, that could easily be the case A bit funny as the site warns you that you are about to post to a "dead" thread. Could also be my electrical field messing things up as well. There were claims at work the other day that I brought down the entire database, that everything runs off of, by only looking at the computer

Thing is, they wouldn't have looked dead at the time. All the entries would have looked like they were posted only minutes earlier, so the message wouldn't have been there.

I knew I wasn't the only one breaking things!!! Not my fault this time!!!! Hien has to stop leaving that crowbar lying around where everybody can get to it... Katie - are you magnetically charged? That would explain the crowbar being in your possession...

Sorry I missed it - a flash from the past like that could have been (temporarily) entertaining (Cupcake) and scary (Wocca) at the same time.

Isa now wanders off to find the crowbar and lock it up out of sight...
