And even if we're firing on all--well, most--cylinders, we can do some pretty odd things, too. I walked into the notary's office yesterday and promptly began to choke on my own saliva. Some introduction!

Tina, thank you for your condolences. It was a difficult month for our family, but 3 things helped make it easier. He made it to 87, pretty long lifespan when you have diabetes. He was also ready to leave this planet as he was in extreme distress. His whole body was shutting down on him. And most important, my dad was a Christian and has the promise of an afterlife.

As they say, you only get one chance to make a first impression. I think the notary's office staff will remember you for a few days, or weeks!
