I was thinking of spending New Years Eve some place outside of Norway and was thinking that Venice would be nice. I was just wondering how the weather was like during December-January, and if it is an expensive place?

Maby somebody has a suggestion on where to spend New Years Eve? Not to expencive, but worth seeing.

I was about to say Venice get can rather chilly in December to January but on seeing that you're from Norway, I shall take back that advice.

I'm not sure about the Venice weather that time of year. I was there in late March and I was cold. However, I am from Arizona - so anything below 32 degrees C is freezing to me! If you go there, check out Locanda Conterie on Murano Island. It's a lot cheaper than Venice and it's just a 5-10 minute boat ride from Venice. We stayed there and loved it! www.locandaconterie.com.

thanks JoyC ...I checked out the webpage and it seemed really nice.
All I have to do now is ask my travelling buddy what he thinks ;p =)=) Loved the fact that it's alot cheaper there
