Travel Forums System Talk Another buglet?

Maybe it's my browser, but have you guys noted how the alternating shades of grey in the thread listing of this forum seems to be wrong?

going back to check

Yep; the top-most non-stickied post is in the same 'row' as the lowest stickied post.

Another thing: I noted that thread subscription is now automatically set to 'on' for all threads one starts. Intentional? I don't find that very practical.

Well spotted! This is only the case if there is an odd number of stickied posts, which is why you'll see it on the Central/South America forums, but not the General Talk one. Quick fix is obviously not to sticky an odd number of threads, but that might be a bit difficult to ensure in the long run :) Will make sure Peter sees this thread as I noticed another small bug there too.

Thread subscription has always been defaulted to 'on' when you start new threads. Replying to a post is still default 'off'. Thinking from the point of view of people who don't start threads that often I think it's the right thing to do, but happy to entertain other ideas.

I'd recommend doing the same as we do with photo comments: remember the state of the checkbox as it was last time a thread was started / replied to.

Hmm, never even knew we did it that way there! :) I have noticed it in the blog entries with autosaving and to be honest, this confused the h**k out of me. Whereas in the forums I *know* by default I'm subscribed, unless I change it before saving.
