I am due to fly into bali on 5th september, flying from london to singapore first then on to bali (denpasar). I then have a flight booked from singapore to australia on 3rd october, exactly 4 weeks from my arrival in bali.

However my problem is this...im not sure if i want to stay in bali for the full 4 weeks, or whether i want to go on to thailand or somewhere else before heading back to singapore to catch my flight to australia on 3rd october, so i havent as yet booked a ticket out of bali..

Does anyone know if the fact that I can proove am catching a flight from singapore to australia on the 3rd october is proof enough of my intention to leave bali, or do i have to proove an actual flight out??? I would like to find this out for definate before i leave as i'll be arrivng at bali alone and do not want any complications at the airport.

Thanks in advance for your help!! Katie

Had a coupla weeks in Bali back in April/May (my eighth? holiday there) and have never ever been asked for evidence of a departure flight ticket.
Immigration are so busy that they just take your passport and the $25USD visa fee for 30 days and wave you on.
It helps if you have exactly $25USD in bills on arrival so you can get through immigration as quickly as possible.
There's also a departure tax when flying out but that is paid in Rup.

If you have 4 weeks, you could spend some time on Lombok and the Gili islands.
Very different to Bali and the Gilis are perfect for lotus-eating.

Enjoy to the MAX.
