suggestions for accommodation in turkey & greek islands

hi, my parents are off to turkey and greek islands this time next year and i'm planning their trip. i'm asking for any suggestions on budget to 3 star accom in istanbul, cannakale, santorini, samos, naxos, paros or any other greek isles you think may be worth going to? anything that may be true greek style with lovely water, beaches, cafes etc that may not be so well known?
