Which place in Maine????

Ok a few people responded to a previous thread I posted and it was very helpful. To recap, my fiance and I are looking for a place to spend our honeymoon in Maine. We've narrowed it down to the following places:

1. Balance Rock Inn, Bar Harbor, ME - http://www.balancerockinn.com/

2. Meadowmere, Ogunquit, ME - http://www.meadowmere.com/

3. Cliffhouse Resort, Ogunquit, ME - http://www.cliffhousemaine.com/

4. Samoset Resort, Rockport, ME - http://www.samosetresort.com/

I don't know anything about Rockport, but Ogunquit and Bar Harbor seem quaint and nice. We'd like a lush place on the ocean...the only set back about meadowmere is it isn't on the ocean.

Thoughts? Recommendations? Where would you choose of the 4? Any other recommendations?

I haven't been to Maine in .. oh gosh.. 20 plus years.. but when I was there, I lived at a Camping resort in Moody Beach Maine. Which is just north of Ogunquit. It's a beautiful area, or was way back when. You can use US 1 to drive north or south and do lots of siteseeing.

Having said that, I've heard great things about Bar Harbour, and if you are into Island, and waterways, this would be a great place to honeymoon.

Hmmm, looking at the places Balance Rock Inn seems a little more old fashioned, but the area seems really amazing. However, being in a place with a spa would be nice too Guess it just depends on what you want. A quieter place with less rooms, easy access to nature, more amenities, etc. They all look pretty great!
