Hi everyone,

I would like to travel to Malaysia, mainly on Kuala Lumpur, and a travel companion would be needed by then, if someone will travel during this period, you are welcome to be with me, and some questions I need help:

1. How long it will take from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca by bus?
2. Except Kuala Lumpur, is there any place to go in Malaysia?

If I can find a Malaysian to be with me and help with during my visit to Malaysia, it would be very great.
I am looking foward my travel to Malaysia.

Susan

Ni hao Susan,

to answer your question,

it will take about 2.5 hours from KL to Malacca by bus
besides KL, u can go to cameron highland (tea boh plantation-a cooling place -mainly scenery)
or genting highlands (theme park and casino) or bukit tinggi (human-made french village)..these places r the nearest to KL within few hours..

I haven't been to french village.. but for cameron highland..if u need a backpacker GH information, u can ask me.. i have a fren who always frequent to there.

... or bukit tinggi (human-made french village)...

Sorry, can't resist... is there any natural or non-"human-made" French village?

Of course! It depends on what you're interested though. If you haven't already done so, check out the Malaysia travel guide to get some idea on what to see or do.

Hello Catwong,

Thank you for your message.
May I know that if I can contact you for further help during my visiting Malaysia? Are you available at that time?

Susan

Uhh... I was only making fun of the term "human-made village". Which village is not human made?

I know the "French Village" at Bukit Tinggi - I've been there before. The Japanese garden is nice, but I'm not impressed by the village. It's just another tourist trap.
