Canadian going to Gold Coast in 6 weeks....

Hey guys/girls...

Just joined up with the site, it's all new to me. However...going to be spending the next year in Australia. Taking a little time off the cold Canadian weather. Always looking to meet fellow travellers, join up for some beers, share some costs on adventure travels...just about anything.
So if there is anyone out there who is the same, I'm gonna be in Gold Coast for indy and a few months. Then, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth...you name it !

Hey I am from Toronto and I am f;lying into Melbourne on October 23rd, staying at a Hostel for a couple nights, and hopefully finding a job and housing until I leave for Sydney at the end of December. Then travelling up the East Coast and ending my trip in Cairns at the end of May! Where in Canada are you from?
