I love it.

Let me guess, that's what your face looks like after eating hot and spicy Indian food.

Gotta say l love Indian food but try not to eat TOOO much of it - too many calories!!

The more spicy the better too!!

Had a great Indian meal in London in Wembley area - just this little back street restaurant that we kinda wandered into and it was a gem!!

Just made a delicious dish tonight. It says on the recipe that it's 'East India Chicken Curry', but I just know it tastes fabulous ;) Actually, it was this thread that inspired me to ask my mom for the recipe. It's been at least 15 years since I last ate it, but she figured out which dish I must have been talking about and typed out the recipe for me. It was just as good as I remembered it!! It's probably one of the only dishes I really remember from my childhood (aside from all the standard things of course), so some good memories thanks to this thread

I've got leftovers; come on over!! Aparrently 1.4 kilo of chicken was too much for 2 adults and a 2 year old :) I don't really want to hijack this thread with a recipe, but happy to share

Hien is right, Penang has some of the best Indian food in Malaysia. I would go back to Penang right now just for the Indian food there...it is the best we have ever tasted (as good as the food our Indian friend in the UK cooked for us), because of this we are really looking forward to travelling in India! I love Indian food but like Purdy am very worried about the fat content because of all the cream etc!

Sweptaway, have you not tried Hainan chicken with rice while you were in Malaysia? that is a wonderful but simple meal, another favourite! If you don't want to eat with your fingers the restaurants are more than happy to supply you with a fork and spoon, just ask the waiter!

Poor Hien, I agree the take aways (for any food other than fish and chips) in most of the UK are awful and KFC does taste better in Malaysia, much spicier! Get yourself a good receipe book and start experimenting!

I particularly like Goan food myself. Maybe it's because I'm a coco-nut. Coco-nut-nut? Whatever.

!

I'm in Melaka for the 4th night... What is wrong with me, I ate at KFC, MC.DONALD's and can someone help me find KENNY ROGERS ROASTERS...

well I do eat on those BUFFET... and then they charge you just by looking at your plate. That is very interesting aspect of their dining culture. But its nothing special. I don't think I am going to like travelling to India.

I loved Thai food and Vietnamese restaurant food. But this Penang and Melaka food is just another version of Chinese food.

The Indian food, don't look attractive. Its fish and curry... I'm just eating the Chicken rice. THE SATAY WAS BAD... chiang mai had kick ass SATAY, even Bangkok had great satay.

Hainan Chicken, tried it in Vietnam with correander and it was fine. But its just boiled Chicken. I didnt even try the Chicken rice balls in MELAKA...

What am I missing, I still have two more meals.
