Cannes, Frances

Hi Everyone,

I'm from Singapore. Me & a friend is planning to go to Cannes, France. How to get there? What is the nearest airport? and any suggest for a cheap accommodation.

Hi, are you planning on staying in Cannes for a few days or just a stop-by? What I would reccomend is: go to Nice, France and stay at the "hotel Pastoral" this is a cheap hostel ( don't be fooled by the name) that is ten minutes walk from the main train station. Here you can get nice rooms and free wireless internet- and they will let you borrow their labtop if you need to. From Nice you have easy access to Monte Carlo- about 10-12 minutes from Nice and Cannes is about 30 minutes.

I would also recommend staying in Nice because it seems, all around, a nicer and better vibe.

Thanks buscando. We'll be attending an event at Cannes for 5 days. It is okay to travel everyday from Nice to Cannes?
