Hello,
My husband and I are currently in Australia as part of an around the world trip.
We are due to fly to Taiwan via Hong Kong. After this we would like to venture into China to travel overland into Vietnam.
We tried to apply for a Chinese visa in Sydney, but were refused because we are British citizens and only have an Electronic Visa Authority for Australia.
My questions are:
- Can we apply for a Chinese visa in Taiwan?
- Or could we apply for a Chinese visa in Hong Kong?
- We do not have tickets to enter and leave China as we will be catching a train from Hong Kong to Guangzhou and then to Hanoi in Vietnam, is this going to be a problem?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
