DONT STAY IN PHUKET TOWN, whatever you do in the name of saving money. The Beaches are ten years away from Phuket town and its cheaper to fly to Greece from Bangkok, than to take a taxi back to your hostel. Bus services end at 6 pm, but they can also ignore passengers even if its 4:00 pm. If you are using a guide book, it will give you places in the town, that would be the most stupid advice you will ever get. cheap accomodations exist in the NIght life areas, you just have to walk around. Obviously, I stayed in Phuket town. |
