Hi all!

Yes Cybervlad!
My post wanted to be a joke, but I don't think it is been a so "BAD" joke. I simply wanted to introduce an humorous note in a thread evidently already exhausted, thinking to condivide with others, some humorous speeches of some politic! Differentely than you I find such speeches not only stupid, but mainly humorous.
As you don't apreciated my humor, I will avoid (but it is not sure) to put other similar post, but surely, if next year I will succeed to visit Russia, before to start my travel I will collect a stone from Europe territory, so if Ms. Palin will win elections, and she will blunder the target of the war (and then when I will come-back, I will find the sea instead of Europe), at least I will have a memory of it!

Regards

Traveller30, thanx for explanation, I understand what you mean. But we have different views. Human's deaths is not right subject for jokes, IMO. Sadly, but for those politics the war is only "picture on TV", not real deaths, injures and children's tears.

Remember that Russian mentality is still like the old European mentality.

In older times in Europe (still some places) only the man did get a paycheck. The woman was working in the home, with house and children. Naturally the man did pay for everything, only he did get a paycheck.

When only one paycheck was normal in Europe, of course the families did not make that much money and could not spend so much money. This did not matter, because most other families had the same economy, everybody did spend less money.

Today in Russia, the majority still have this old mentality. The man works out of the home and get the paycheck. He pays for everything.

The problem is that Russian women today get confused, they want the best of 2 worlds.

They want to live their life with the man working for the paycheck and paying, and they want to stay/work home (or work a little to get extra money for themselves). At the same time they want the economic spending/ lifestyle as a European family with 2 paychecks.

Definitely a problem for a relationship
