atms in goa

Can anyone help me with locations for ATM;s in Calengute/Baga/Candolim please, I was there several years ago and found it difficult to get money from these machines, have things improved since then? would be grateful for any help as my son is going there in Jan and wants to know the best way to take money i.e. travellers cheques or just debit/credit cards, thanks stokesy

i v been there last year and things are better. Of course it s about Goa, but if Your son want to travel around India it s better he take money from ATM's in cities. If possible probablly the best is to have Visa card because all ATM's in India accepting Visa card.
Also it can be very usefull if he have some money in cash in small banknotes. (1,5,10$)
