going over to bali for the ubud festival....any guesthouse suggestions in ubud?

Hi nomadgirl,
Ubud is one very nice, quiet small place and I hope You will like it. It s difficult to point on any particular guest house because there is so many of them. Beside a lot of families have like 1 or 2 bungalows for rent (for less then 10$ sometimes) and it s really nice to stay with Balinesse people because they are very nice and friendly. Breakfast is usually included.
Anyway along the Monkey Forest Road You will find something appropriate for You.
From Ubud in one day You can see so many things around: Besakih temple (the bigest and holiest in Bali),Goa Gajah, The Holly Spring temple, vulcano, rice fields etc.
