We are looking to book our RTW ticket towards the end of this month and its a toss up between and has anyone dealt with either of these company's in the past?! Any info would be highly apprecitaited!

we leave RTW in Oct and we booked with travel nation, their ticket was the cheapest. They have excellent service, return calls and emails. Any changes we make prior to departure are free (there have been some as we filled in the blanks between flights), after departure depends on the airline.

They were the only agents that could book us on that bottle neck leg NZ-SAntiago.

here is our itinerary

for £1870 each, inc £75 each booking fee and all taxes, fuel etc depart Oct 18. We have paid, so this is final price.

However ours includes: (12 month validity)

London – Delhi – Hong Kong – Beijing – Tokyo – Bangkok // Singapore – Sydney – Christchurch // Auckland – Santiago – Lima – Quito – Buenos Aires // Rio – London

Where // represents overland sector.

why did you choose to fly between Lima and Quito, you could have easily overlanded that section, and used the flight somewhere else ?

Hey i've just booked with I found each company much of a muchness on price, although i was getting annoyed because they kept changing the prices, but i found that the guy at roundtheworldflights seemed a lot more knowledgeable and upfront and honest about admin fees etc if i need to change dates later.

i would prefer to book trough where you can bid your own price for the tickets.
First make a regular search for the ticket and check the price. next subtract 40% of the price from the amount shown and bid for it. usually the price is lower than all the travel agents. at times it made a difference of about 50% from other travel agents for me.;)

Have a wonderful trip,
