Living cost in Netherlands?

Could anyone give an approximate idea about the living costs in netherlands?
in and around The Hague area..........
I have a job offer and I need to evaluate the same..........

Usually rental costs are really high here. They are quite a bit lower in The Hague than they are here in Amsterdam, but if you want to have a halfway decent apartment still calculate with approx. €900-1200 per month. Food prices in the supermarkets are also a bit above Western European average (although still lower than in the UK). On the other hand public transport is quite cheap and given the excellent train/bus infrastructure there is also no need for a car.
