Finding unmapped photos

Travel Forums System Talk Finding unmapped photos

I have now mapped 1330 or my 1360 (or so) photos. I thought I went through everything and mapped them all, however obviously I missed a few. I know there are a few that I uploaded that don't show for my blog header, but I'm sure it's not 20 or 30 that I am not showing in my gallery.

Any easy way to see which photos are unmapped?

Cheers,
Greg

I guess you mean something other than going through 136 pages in your mapping area? :)

I've been trying to think of a way using the gallery and the feeds or Google Earth tie in, but I'm not getting very far. I could run a manual query for you though, assuming it doesn't bring down the site

I did consider this problem when I set up the photo mapping bit, and so the unmapped photos within a country should always show right at the start of the country-section. Now admittedly you have 24 countries' worth of photos, but clicking 23 times on the country links underneath the photos should still be preferable over clicking next 135 times. :)

*checks the code* ... yeah, I don't think you're triggering the case yet where photos are ordered by date rather than by country, at least...

Bang on, my friend. Turns out it was Trinidad and Tobago, which triggered my memory that I couldn't find the names of a few of the places I was, or had pictures that were from the middle of nowhere, so I didn't label them.

No need to run any site crashing queries then, Sam.

Greg

Nope, spoke too soon. Turns out those photos were mapped, just mapped to the middle of T&T. I've fixed that now, but it's still telling me that I have mapped 1337 or 1359 photos. I don't see any appearing as per Sander's method that are unmapped, save for one (which is fine). I went through all the dates over the past few days, so I really think that all my travel photos are mapped.

Is there a way to see what photos you uploaded but checked not to appear in Gallery? I didn't think I had that many uploaded where I had done that, but perhaps I have... That seems to be the only logical explanation.
