Hi people, im new here, and i have been reading though most of the messages. I am yet to find one that says about the online applicaton for the Australian working holiday visa, and i was wondering, how does one prove he has enough money in his account for them to grant the visa, as i can't find any information on how i prove that to them?
Thank for the help
I applied on-line and was granted a visa within a matter of hours. That was without having to produce any bank statements or proof of funds.
I may be wrong but as far as I'm aware you shouldn't have to produce anything until entry to the country.
I would also be grateful if somebody could clarify this for me as well.
i applied online and never got asked for proof of funds, either when applying or when entering the country
And you where able to get a 12 month working holiday visa? I suppose they think, we will only issue it once, if they dont have the funds, they wont come anyway. Anywho its good to know.
How much did you take with you, im going to save around £3-4000. And does anywho know how much the typical wage is for Australia?
I applied online and it took three weeks, but finally got my WHM Visa, apparently some people get asked for proof of funds and others don't. I think the fact that I had the return leg of my journey booked may have been the reason I wasn't asked....
like the others i applied for my WHM visa online and it took less than a day to come through.
Seem to remember that it said that you need suitable funds when you enter the country, but not when you apply for the visa online. I started a thread on the forum a few months ago, as far as i know most people said that you need a bank statement or bank book with the funds in (e.g. as proof) and to get it signed by your bank. Then you may need to produce it when you enter the country/get your visa stamp.
Hope that helps
