Hello everyone,

We are planning a trip to US at 14-28 February. Could you please tell me what we shouldn't miss in Las Vegas, LA and NY? (We are staying in Vegas 2 nights and we cant avoid it due to job matters).
I know that there are speed limits and the distances are long but in which other places could we go?
We dont have much time to do many things but i would appreciate if someone could tell me, at this season, what is best for us to see.

Thank you in advance.

If you like crowded cities, traffic jams and sky high prices visit New York and LA

If you like good food and beautiful vistas visit San Francisco and Seattle

If you like museums and political history visit Washington DC and Philadelphia

If you like large cities with huge airports visit Chicago or Atlanta

If you like smaller cities with good music visit Austin, New Orleans or Nashville

If you like tropical weather visit Honolulu or Miami

If you like uncrowded places visit Oregon or Maine

If you insist on NY and LA, take the train to Washington from NY, and also take the train from LA to San Diego

If you have time in Las Vegas area do visit Hoover Dam, one of the engineering marvels of the world.
Recommend the guided tour, it's worth it.

Hello,

While in Vegas, if you like shows, check out the Cirque shows. Also, check out the light show on Fremont Street (it's free). For show and hotel discounts, check out broadwaybox.com. The Wayne Brady comedy show is funny and also Cher might still be performing as well as Marie and Donnie Osmond.

In NYC, there many things to do-along with the broadway shows, there is the Metropolitan Museum, MOMA, Museum of Natural History, Empire state building tour, top of the rock (overlooks central park), Central Park and all of the fabulous restaurants all around town. It will most likely be cold in NYC but it's a definite must. They also have helicopter tours which is short but fun. So much to do here!!!! :)

Good luck!

I was recently in New York and did a really fun, original thing. It is a show called Accomplice:The Village and is a walking tour but also a show - with actors placed in different restaurants and bars - they keep the story going. You get to see some really cool places in Greenwich Village. It was the most original and fun thing that we did in NY and we met some great people. The website is www.AccompliceTheShow.com good luck

While you are in New York, you can also visit Boston for a day. There are cheap buses running from China Town. These are sometimes illegal buses and running away from the police, so you might have to ask someone where the bus is. Just get into any shop and ask the owner, they seem to know.

Personally I like Boston more than New York and would definitely recommend it!

Totally agree, Boston is amazing, defo recommended.
I also recommend the bus service that takes you from Chinatown NY to Chinatown Boston.
We got the bus around 7am i believe and then got the return bus at 10-11pm.
Well worth the day visit.
I've been back since for longer and it cant say enough about how lovely it is.

Circue is defo worth a look in Vegas as well as the Blue man Group.
Although you dont have alot of time in Vegas.
Don't try and walk too far, its very very hot and humid plus it takes alot longer than you think, there is a bus that goes up and down the strip that is worth it.
