Still planning the TSR+RTW trip next June.
Our preliminary route plan/schedule would take
us to Nepal in mid-June. Just read from Lonelyplanet,
that it's either going to be really (too) hot or
the monsoons have already started.
Is this so??
Nepal is my dream destination. I'd like to find
a way to include it to our route.
Most of the climbing expeditions head for the Everest region in May and November as that's when the weather is most settled. End of May, early June signals the start of the bad weather up there, so if possible, start earlier - in May.
As for the south of the country, yes I imagine the Terai jungle area does get incredibly hot. I think even the local people in that part of southern Nepal/northern India find living there quite tough.
Accept my greetings from Nepal,
I often operate my Trekking tours during the late season like end of MAY & June. The reason is it's so peaceful environment with out crowed of trekkers and the Himalayan view is still magnificent.
If you need any suggestion, itinerary & schedule about trekking program please feel free to write me. I am long been experience in the field of trekking in Nepal and would like to assist you whatever way I can. Following is my contact address in Kathmandu
