Very light almost water- and windproof jacket

Hey,

Last year I saw a Scottisch guy with a really amazing jacket.
It was hardly as big as a fist when folded, almost 100% water- and windproof. The material was a bit like a parachute?
Can anybody tell me the name/brand of these jackets and where I can find them (online?)?

I's probably a Montane jacket... I would get a Marmot one though - a little bigger when folded but better
