i travelled with Nomad a few month ago from Cape Town to Victoria Falls.
Everything about that tour was amazing! Great guides, delicious food and - of course- beautiful countries!
I had a great time and would travel with Nomad again any time, so I can really recommend them.
Another great thing is, that there were no hidden costs. You really just pay the tour price and local payments and then you can decide whether to do optional activities or not.
Hope I could help!
I have heard good reviews about Nomad. There is also Oasis Overland which are my favourite as they have fantastically designed trucks and great routes plus no hidden costs which I have experienced with other overlanding companies before. They cover Namibia, Botswana and South Africa quite extensively.
Hope this helps!
came just back from an overlanding trip from Cape to Vic Falls with Nomadtours, and it was just amazing. As I made my intern ship within that company, 3 years ago, it was my second tour with them, and again a picked up weight on a tour like this.. delicious food from a great cooker and the guides where as usual great. Also the route was amazing, and no hidden costs.
Would definitely go with them a third time...
see u on the road..
Thanks everyone for the great feedback. I ended up using a tour company called Gecko's Adventures which I believe is based out of Australia. I really enjoyed the tour and am looking forward to returning to Africa again next year. I may look at Nomad as an option as well though : )
