Can anyone give me a few options of how to transfer from La Guardia into Manhattan please - l arrive about 8pm and l dont particularly want to hang about, but l dont want to pay the equivalent of a months mortgage on a cab!!

Any advice or websites l should look at?

Hi Heather

I know you said you didnt want to get a taxi but it only cost me 30 dollars with tip when i did journey in Aug(including toll), i thought that it was pretty cheap plus its door to door service.

Hi Heather,
The best way, if you're looking to take public transportation, is by bus. The M60 runs from La Guardia to Columbia University every 20 or so minutes. Or, you could take the NY Airport Service Express Bus, which is only $10 and stops at Grand Central Station and Penn Station.

More info can be found at this link, near the bottom of the page:

Hope you have a great trip!

Yep, second the Express Bus. I live right beside Grand Central Heather, so it's the course of least effort! I'll walk down and meet you there. ;)

I almost forgot the shuttle bus. The next best thing is the Taxi. Lets say these are your best choices for safety.Take the
shuttle and then a taxi after you get into the city.
