hey guys..
We're flying out to Mexico City on 2nd december and have roughly 3 months to travel thru Central America, before moving on to South America.
Can anyone give me a rough suggestion of a route for these 3 months.. We will be travelling by bus, definitely want to take in the cultural/historical sites this region has to offer, take a spanish course, try and get off the beaten path!
Countries we definitely want to spend time in are:
Mexico (a small amount of time, not interested in Cancun etc.. )
Guatemala
Honduras
Nicaragua
Costa Rica
Panama
We are then planning to take a boat from Panama to Colombia.. so need to allow time in panama to get this sorted.
