JOrr has indicated that this thread is about New Zealand

Hi There,

I'm planning a trip to New Zealand later this year on the Working Holiday Visa programme. I'm looking for a good deal on insurance to cover me for up to 12 months. Does anyone have any advice/experience with this or know of any companies that can provide good deals?

Hi .
Try our Automobile Association as a starting point
perhaps email and ask if they wil cover tourists.
Remember also we drive on the left hand side of the road .
Takes a bit of getting used to as I found driving on the right hand side overseas !!

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the reply, I'll take a look as I'll probably be getting a car at some point whilst there.

I should've specified in my post above however that it was health/travel insurance advice i'm looking for.

Thanks again tho'

The BMC (British Mountaineering Council) do very competitive and comprehensive insurance. I used it for my family's RTW year.
