how do you get there by bus or train? how long does it take to get there? cheers

I'm struggling to find any info on this bro but if you contact Bus Eirann, it looks like they have a bus service from Dublin but I can't find any timetable info on the route. Alternatively, you may be able to get a bus to Navan and a taxi to Slane Castle.

What is it you're going for? If there's an event on, quite often transport is arranged.

From Dublin, you'll need to get a bus to Drogheda, and from there to Slane. The castle is about 1km walk from Slane village.

Just a thought. aAren´t OASIS playing Slane next year? Isn´t Noel Gallagher a leading light of said band? Isn´t your name Noel G. I thought you´d be flying in by Helicopter. Really, I wouldn´t recommend travelling by bus. You´ll miss your sound check, they´ll confiscate your beer at the gate and get your shoes dirty walking through the field.
