looking for info abt NZ and its prices i come across that any fee (room fee, atraction admission) is less for backpackers. what should one have or show to make others believe he/she is a backpacker?

"For backpackers" here is anyone who is a member of YHA, VIP or BBH, which are the relevant backpacker organizations. You get a one year membership for $30-$40, and that pays itself back by staying in hostels affiliated with that organization (giving a $1 to $4 discount per night, depending on the organization). Transport organizations and some attractions aren't affiliated with any particular backpacker organization, and just give discounts to people showing a membership card from any of those organizations. (And sometimes also to international students, as long as they can show an ISIC card.
YHA is the largest organization ("Hostelling International" is their worldwide brandname), which undoubtedly has a local organization in Rusland that you can join (*searches* yes, russia-hostelling; though it's also fine to join them in New Zealand). VIP also is worldwide, but significantly smaller. I don't know if they exist in Russia. BBH is local to New Zealand.
Since they all give the same kind of discounts on transport/attractions, which one you want to join depends on which hostels you'll be staying at. YHA hostels are generally considered cleaner and quieter (but the larger ones lack atmosphere, though this is IMO more than made up by the small ones), VIP hostels are more party oriented (sometimes hyper modern, sometimes completely rundown; very little in between), and BBH hostels are more independent - often run by a family who really live in, and care for, the hostel - and have some really nice hostels amongst their members.
