Hi there,
I will be headed for SA in a week and have been keeping a close eye on the news and the travel reports from my government's website. Both sources have indicated recent protests and some demonstrations that have become violent and roads leading to and from airports have been blocked. I am particularly concerned about my flights and travel into Cuzco, Peru and La Paz, Boliva. As well, overland travel through Bolivia to the Salar de Uyuni and onwards to Salta.
How concerned should I be? Are there any areas I should avoid?
Can anyone who is in the area or aware of the situation be of any help??
