Southwest Airlines Ticket Question...

Travel Forums North America Southwest Airlines Ticket Question...

I booked a flight from Kansas City to Los Angeles a few weeks ago and noticed the same itinerary went down in price. Can I call and get a credit for the itinerary I have, re-book the flight and save that extra money?

I was sick one time and they let me cancel my flight and receive credit for the price of the ticket, so I was just curious if I could do the same thing only rebook at the cheaper rate.

Thank you for your time,

Only SWA would know this answer - call them.

Travel tip:

It never hurts being a member in your preferred airline's frequent flyer plan. This gives you a lot more leverage with the carrier in case a change has to be made.

In SWA's case, their program is called Rapid Rewards. I fly SWA frequently on business trips and they are about the easiest folks to deal with in just about any situation.
