Hi guys

Im flying from London to Auckland in january 2009, and have been offered the chance to stop over in seoul for a day or two as part of my flight. I was wandering if this is a good idea? Is there much to see in seoul? I also think it will be the middle of winter there, and very cold.

Hey, I'm in the very same boat. Asiana cancelled day 4 flights from Seattle (Thurs), so they're giving me a free hotel, and I'll have 27 hours between flights now to Bangkok (February). I understand Seoul is expensive but quite interesting. I was there this year in March, and even then it was chilly. There is quite a bit to see/do in the area including DMZ tours, spas, transit tours out of the airport, and there is excellent transportation into the city. See you there? Do you like Korean spicy food?
